Era of Megafire- Student Event

Era of Megafires

High School classrooms are invited to participate in this multi-media learning experience to discuss the "Era of Megafires." Paul Hessburg, research landscape ecologist with the Pacific Northwest Research Station (USFS) will lead the discussion. Particpants will have an opportunity to interact with a professional panel after the film, including the North 40 production company. High school students can hear about career opportunities related to fire fighting. The event is 9:30-11:30am, students may visit the Forestry Center Museum after the presentation.
